The Enamoured Heart prides itself in using the finest quality sterling silver components in its designs. All personalized jewelry is made with premium sterling silver block letter beads that come in two different sizes. The Large Letter Style items feature chunky fun 5.6 mm block beads and the Small Letter Style items feature delicate soft-edged 4.5 mm rounded block letter beads.
Accenting beads include sterling silver smooth and corrugated round beads and genuine Austrian Swarovski crystal beads or genuine Swarovski pearls and crystal rondelles for all ladies', little girl's, and baby's bracelets and necklaces. Men's and boy's jewelry feature black buffalo horn and amber horn beads complimented by an assortment of base metal beads.
All items are made for durability as they are strung on strands of wire consisting of 49 tiny wires twisted together and nylon coated with breaking strengths of 40 to 65 lbs.

What size do I order?
*Please take care to measure and order the right size as there is a $5 restringing fee for all bracelets and anklets and a $10 restringing fee for all necklaces ordered in the incorrect size.
Bracelets
The best way to ensure that you are getting the perfect size bracelet is to take a cloth measuring tape and place it snugly around the wrist where a wristwatch is typically worn (just on the other side of your wrist bone). To this measurement I usually add ¾" to 1" for an adult's size and ½" for a children's size. If your measurement is over 7½" then I usually ask for an additional measurement right at the base of the hand as well to ensure a good fit.
If you do not have a cloth measuring tape you can always take a piece of string and place it around your wrist as mentioned above or at a desired bracelet length then take it off and measure the string against a ruler for a correct wrist or bracelet size.
An average size women's bracelet is 7½"
An average size men's bracelet is 8½" to 9"
If you are giving a bracelet as a gift and cannot get a measurement the following chart will give you guidelines as to which size to order. All measurements on this chart are based on an average build.

Anklets
For adults and children the best way to ensure a good fit would be to take a string and place it at the desired length around the ankle then measure the string against the ruler. This would then become your finished anklet size.
For babies the above recommendation may work but even better would be to take an snug ankle measurement (just above the ankle bone) and another one just below the calf so that I can ensure that you can get it on but also ensure that it will not slip off over the foot.
An average size women's anklet is 9"
Necklaces
For women standard sizes are 16" (which allows for the best view of the necklace), 18" (which is still a nice length for viewing but also gives the flexibility of allowing you to wear it over a turtleneck sweater), and 20", 22", 24" all become a matter of preference as to what you are going to wear it with and how long you would like it to be.
For men and children the best way to get the right fit would be to take a string and place it around the neck at the desired length then measure the string against a ruler to get your finished necklace length.
An average size Men's necklace is 18" to 20"

What forms of payment do you accept?
At this time the only form of payment that I accept is cash, personal cheque, or money order. As the business continues to grow I look forward to adding credit card options. Once your payment is received and verified I will ship your order. If you live in the Winnipeg area, payment is due upon picking your item up.
What does it cost to ship my order?
All items are shipped via Canada Post. The following rates are approximate and can be verified once your postal code or zip code is given.
Xpresspost within Canada West of Thunder Bay: $6.49 Cdn plus taxes. Delivery: 1-3 business days.
Xpresspost within Canada East of Thunder Bay: $9.49 Cdn plus taxes. Delivery: 2-3 business days.
Small packet service within the USA: $5.95 Cdn. Delivery: 7-10 business days.
Small packet service outside of North America: $7.30 Cdn. Delivery: minimum 7-14 days business days.
Note: For all shipments outside of Canada, customers are responsible for any applicable taxes, customs or duties charged upon entry into their own country.
How long will it take to ship my order?
As every item is custom designed, most items will be available to pick up or ship within 5-7 days. However, Hebrew and Greek letters are not kept in stock so have to be special ordered. These orders are typically ready to ship or be picked up within 14 days. If you have a special occasion and need a rush delivery, I will do my very best to accommodate your timelines.
For all orders outside of Winnipeg once I receive all your information I will quote you a price including applicable taxes and shipping. Your item will be made and ready to ship once your payment has been received and verified.

What is your return policy?
Unfortunately as all items are custom ordered and designed specifically for you I cannot accept any items back for return. However, if for any reason you are not happy with the look of the item I would be more than happy to work with you to redesign the item to your liking. You would be responsible for the appropriate restringing fee ($5 Cdn for bracelets and anklets, $10 Cdn for necklaces), costs associated with the upgrading of any components or beads desired, and the shipping charges.
Do you guarantee your products?
I stand behind the quality of every item I make and guarantee the product to be free of defects or I will repair or replace the item free of charge within 90 days of purchase.
How much does restringing and repairs cost?
Restringing a bracelet or anklet is $5 Cdn and $10 Cdn for a necklace. If you need an item repaired due to breakage and you have all of the beads only the restringing fee will apply. If you are missing some of the beads I would be happy to replace them for a minimal charge. Most charms are $6 Cdn each to replace.
What if I want to add a name or strand to an existing bracelet?
Nobody wants to wait until their family is complete before purchasing a Mother's or Grandmother's bracelet! It is always easy to add another name or another strand at a later date.
If you are just adding another name to an existing bracelet then a restringing fee of $5 Cdn per strand will apply plus $3 Cdn per letter that you want to add (crystals are included for free).
If you would like to add another strand then you would pay the $5 Cdn per strand restringing fee for the existing strand(s) then pay the price of what another single strand would cost (depending on what letter style you order). I will then incorporate the new bracelet with the old bracelet into a multi-strand bracelet with a new clasp and safety chain.
For example, if you have a single strand Large Letter Style bracelet that you want to turn into a double strand bracelet (because another child's name needs to be added) the cost would be $5 Cdn to restring the existing bracelet onto the 2 strand clasp and then $55 Cdn (up to 5 letters or symbols and $3 per additional letter or symbol) to design the second strand and attach it and it's charm to the 2 strand clasp to create one new bracelet.
How do I look after my jewelry?
Sterling Silver can tarnish. This is a natural process caused by oxidation. Tarnish does not damage the silver and can easily be removed by rubbing the piece gently with a soft treated jewelry polishing cloth. If used regularly, a polishing cloth can keep tarnish from building up. If you wear your jewelry regularly your body's oils will also help reduce tarnishing.
Do not use tarnish-removing dips as they can remove oxidized silver (the black in the letters and charms). When you are not wearing your jewelry, store it in a cool, dry place like a zip-lock bag with your polishing cloth to prevent both tarnishing and scratching by other pieces
It is recommended that you do not sleep, shower or swim with your jewelry as this may cause unnecessary stress on the components in it. Depending on your lifestyle and the stress caused to your jewelry on a daily basis, you may want to consider having your jewelry restrung yearly to prevent breakage.
